Description

I received an email about a job offer, since I had previously applied for a ton of positions i just assumed it was one of the jobs i applied for.. i received a phone call about the position and after doing a small amount of research it seemed to be legit, or so I thought. after giving them my personal information, and submitting what i thought was a real w-4. They were expecting me to work for a whole month without pay, they said it was considered training. What they wanted me to do was receive packages at my front door, and replace the label with a newly generated label they would send me. needless to say after week of doing this "job" I began to become skeptical of the company's legitimacy. digging deeper i discovered this was a scam turning everyday innocent job seekers into a "parcel mule" essentially turning us into some sort of scapegoat.
