Description
I was contacted by someone claiming to represent Banyan Health Systems for a Cloud Support Engineer position. The communication and entire interview process were conducted only through email, and I never spoke with a real person by phone or video. After answering the interview questions by email, I received an immediate “job offer” for $70 per hour. The individual then requested my driver’s license, home address, and phone number, stating they needed this information to “send a check to purchase work equipment.” This raised concerns, and I recognized the situation as a potential scam. I did send my driver’s license before realizing the warning signs, but I did not provide any additional personal information, address, or financial details. I believe the individuals involved are using the name Banyan Health Systems fraudulently to conduct an employment and identity theft scam. I am submitting this report to warn others and to help prevent further fraudulent activity.
