In July 2025, my garage door fell of the tracks and needed fixing. I did an online search on Google and Local Fix Garage doors came up with great reviews. I called them and they had someone over in a couple hours. They said it would be a couple hundred dollars to put the garage door back on the tracks but after "fixing" it, something else came up that also needed "fixing" then something else came up until the price went from 150.00 to 1,829.00. The repair guy supposedly replaced 2 springs, 2 rollers and one strat. After he left with my money, I noticed that the parts still looked old so I dont believe he replaced anything. Four months later, the garage door came of the track again. So we called them back at the number that was on the receipt which was different from local fix garage door and had a different name. They wanted to charge us 150 to put it back on the tracks and did not honor the 5 year warranty. I believe local fix garage doors and garage door repair & Install are scam artist that are ripping people off garage door repairs. Be careful when you hire a repair guys. This place has no address listed anywhere on their invoice/receipt and when I asked them for an address, the woman on the other end of the phone told me they are a small business and do not have a business address. I wish I had read all these bad reviews and experiences that other people posted before I called them. Now I am out almost $2,000.00 and still have a broken garage door.
