Description
Received a letter in the mail with my Mortgage Lenders name indicating "Immediate Response Required", "Final Notice", "Failure to call us by the expiration data may result in a lapse of coverage. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage. Please contact us immediately upon receiving this letter as it will be our final attempt to contact you before we close the file on this property. Based on your mortgage lender's requirements for your current loan, you may be required to have a home warranty in place at all times to stay in compliance." I feel foolish that I didn't verify the phone number with my mortgate lender & ask if the claims in the letter were true. Regardless, I called the phone number. Got a real person, who kept insisting I give him my email address. He said "sorry, this coverage is required" & "if you don't, your home will be red flagged", but he couldn't explain what "red flagged" meant nor what the repercussions of being "red flagged" were. Overall he was very rude with comments like "you're not getting what I'm saying. It's going in one ear & out the other". Ultimately he hung up on me.
