Scammer acted like an associate from United Airlines customer service and proceeded to help me with my flight cancellation and refund. He pulled up my flight info and everything and told me that it would cost me $501.99 for the refund of my three tickets. So I gave him my credit card to process the request, he put me on hold, in the meantime I checked my bank and the charge had gone through bc I authorized thinking it was real and then he never came back on the phone and that’s when I knew. I can’t dispute the charge until it posts. I then contacted United Airlines and they confirmed that I didn’t speak to anyone from United Airlines. In an email from [email protected] that “David” sent me it gave another phone number (866)455-2626, which made no sense.
