Made a hotel reservation online - thought via the hotel website but turned out to be third party (Reservationstays.com). Realizing an error in dates of reservation, I immediately attempted to cancel. Reservation info indicated no penalty if cancellation within 24 hours, but when cancellation form submitted ( via refundable.me) they denied cancellation. Email from reservation showed that cancellation needed to occur 24 hours PRIOR to date that the reservation was actually made. Multiple calls to toll-free number ended up in call center in India where was told “international problem with internet” made them unable to retrieve my reservation - told could not speak with supervisor and no one in USA available to address problem. THEN the email that I had received in regards to my reservation completely DISAPPEARED from my inbox. I now have NO E-MAIL CONFIRMATION AT ALL OF THE RESERVATION. I am working with my credit card company to dispute the charge.
