The victim recently received a letter in the mail claiming to be an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from Centennial Med Supply LLC. The letter stated that Medicare had been billed for $11,000, with an additional $2,500 attempted charge, and that the victim’s supplemental insurance had also been billed. Suspecting a scam, the victim’s sister helped contact both Medicare and the supplemental insurance provider. Both accounts were flagged to prevent further unauthorized attempts.
