I answered a call that was I'D as Sarasota Memorial Hospital, and was offered what was claimed to be genetic screening by United Screening Immuno Deficiency Health Testing. They kept saying it is a free Medicare benefit and had the last 4 numbers of my Medicare Card, which concerns me. I didn't feel right about the call because they were being pushy & wanted to send it out right away. After the call I looked up genetic screening and Medicare does not magically cover it as they claimed. Im not sure how this "company" got my Medicare account numbers and don't know if any harm was done since I denied what they were trying to inadvertently sell me.
