The ad was offering a Medicare kit from Blue Cross Blue Shield “for being a respected member”. Just had to pay shipping. Once I had put in my payment information, it said “thank you, you are now in the drawing for the Medicare kit”. It didn’t say that the payment was just for the entry fee. It made it seem like I was paying shipping fee for the actual Medicare Kit. I did that on 11/04/2025. On 11/06/2025 $11.52 was charged on my debit card. On 11/08/2025 they charged $81.31 to my debit card. I called the phone that accompanied the debit charge and spoke with Marielle and she said I couldn’t cancel my subscription as I only had three days to cancel. They waited two days to charge my card. When I saw it, I thought the charge was for something else. Then when I saw the $81.31 charge, I knew I hadn’t charged anything for that much. I asked to speak with her manager and she said “unfortunately, we are not allowed to transfer calls.” I told her I was going to notify you about their practice of scamming people!.
