Received a text message with info regarding a fully remote job that could earn me $100-200 a day plus more as time passed. Commission based work. One hour a day commitment for completing 90 “tasks” per day. The tasks were to click on a product that was for sale on Depop. The click supposedly provided a five star review on the product which increased the visibility of the product. The more the product cost, the bigger the commission. My personal account had to maintain a balance of at least $100 in order to proceed each day. The more my account balance was, the higher the price of the products reviewed. This resulted in a higher cost to “top up” in order to proceed. I paid about $500 to top up and then was able to complete my daily tasks. Then I was allowed to withdraw my earnings. Next day I had to deposit $2200 to top up. After they convinced me to top up, but before I was allowed to withdraw, I got another Advanced Order that required that I deposit almost $11K in order to complete my tasks. I’ve refused to do that. Their system shows that I should receive a commission that will bring my account balance to almost $25K. I’m told once I make the deposit, I can immediately finish my tasks and withdraw my total account balance of almost $25K. I was added to a WhatsApp group message with other supposed employees. Google Image searches on some of the people in the group show the same pictures used on multiple different platforms with different names.
