The 2012 Audi Q5 I purchased on 10/18/2025 (on my birthday) was advertised as “running great, no issues”. Upon arriving to the car lot which was filled with many exports, I asked for a test drive. I addressed a few issues that seemed minor (needs new tires, please check oil, gas tank cover, etc). The required down payment was $2000, I put down $4000 as the car was advertised for $4900 (cash), 5400-5600 finance. I waited for hours and finally the salesman came and told me the vehicle was ready. On my way home the engine light came on “service due”. Within a few hours the oil light came on “oil pressure low”. By Sunday evening the car stopped on me in traffic on Howell Mill Road. My husband and I were able to get the car to the gas station and purchase 2 quarts of oil in order to get the car moving again. We took car back to the Dealer on Tuesday, just days later. We were there the whole day arguing back and forth and they said “No refunds” and finally they gave us a “credit towards the finance balance principal” and refunded the money we spent getting an oil change at Grease Monkey on Monday for $117.00. We asked them to repair the vehicle since there were clearly issues and although they said “as is” they put an ad on Facebook that said “running great, no issues”. At one point I called the local police department because the sales woman “Maria” was adamant that there would be no refund. When we arrived to the dealership there was another gentleman there that had the same issue, his car stopped the same night. Another Audi however his was A6 coupe. He was really upset cause he didn’t purchase the warranty offered and they were not trying to work with him at all. He informed me that there were 3 different cars they offered to trade him And all of them were in horrible condition or stopped on the road. Since I purchased a warranty, Maria said the owner preferred I go get the oil pan repair done with the warranty. I checked thoroughly with Bavarian Imports reviews and decided to go with them. The issue ended up being an oil pressure pump or valve and the pan and that were repaired. There was still a balance so I applied for snap credit to pay for the rest. Before we picked up the car today Bavarian Imports, the owner informed me that there was also a bent engine shim plate and that would Require extensive repairs and be costly and that I should try to get rid of the vehicle or return it to where I purchased it. I contacted Maria and she once again told me “no refunds”. At this point I will attempt to get my refund one last time or I’ll be getting an attorney
