Description
I received a letter claiming that the writer is Anthony Castel from a "distinguished law firm based in Canada" and he is reaching out re an unclaimed insurance policy from a person with my last name who passed away 4 years ago from Covid. The letter goes on to state they've been unable to locate any living relatives and to contact them re the life insurance policy of 11 million 500 thousand dollars. There are 2 emails: [email protected] and [email protected]. The letter is poor copy and refers to this relative at one point with "Mr." and later as "her". Very scammy.
