We needed the vent/duct work fixed on our dryer. The business came out to our home and attempted to fix the issue. Service was provided on 10/17/25. On 10/18/25, we attempted to use the dryer and there was an air flow issue and the clothes were not drying. After attempting several different settings, on 10/19/25 we pulled the dryer out from the wall to see if something was disconnected. We discovered the workers had broken a hole (much larger than required) in the wall and left pieces of drywall, dust and paint behind the dryer. I phoned the number on the website and it was an answering service. The person took the information and said a service person would reach out to me on Monday, 10/20/25. I had not received a call by 12:30 PM on Monday so I phoned again to get an update. I was told there was no report filed and he would reach out to a manager/supervisor as soon as we hung up the phone. At 3:30, I still had not received a call and phoned the number again to get an update. Again, I was told there was no record and there was no manager or supervisor number that could be provided. I requested the contact number for the service person who completed the work and was told he was unable to provide that information but to call the number that phoned us on Friday to verify they were on their way. I called the service man and, initially, he said they had not been at our house. After I persisted, he said he remembered completing the work but did not touch the dryer and was not responsible for any problem that would be causing it to not work. Eventually, he admitted to connecting the duct work to the dryer and completing the job. I requested the number of a supervisor and he stated, since he was driving, he would pull over and call me back. I did not hear back from him. My husband also phoned another number we found on the receipt of payment that had been provided: 612.451.3527. The number was not working. My husband then called the original contact number and spoke with the answering service again. He was told that there was not a way to contact the supervisor/manager but he would make a report and we would hear back from someone by the evening on 10/20/25. After further reviewing the receipt, we noticed that that name of the company was different than the name we had contacted initially. The name of the business was also spelled incorrectly "Air duct chimeny pro Services". We attempted to pay with a credit card but the credit card company declined the charge because it alerted as "fraud". We wrote a check for payment. Because we were unable to get in touch with anyone but an answering service, as well as the large amount that the check was for and because of the damage to the wall, the inoperable dryer and the mess that was left behind, we canceled the check. If the issues were resolved or we could talk to someone directly, we could reissue the check. We did not hear anything from the company until 10/22/25, which was a text message asking why we had canceled the payment. There was no contact to come to fix the issue or any follow up from the complaints that we filed.
