I applied to a Live Chat Representative job opportunity on LinkedIn. I was emailed by [email protected] for next steps for the job opportunity with Project Rest Company, which stated to have Microsoft Teams downloaded on my device and add Tamara Senault with a link provided. The email also provided a hiring/verification code. I ended up clicking the link and it did take me to Microsoft Teams to message Tamara. I messaged her stating I was interested in the position and provided the verification code. Tamara messaged back stating she was the hiring manager for Project Rest Company and asked to introduce myself and my current location. I had already introduced myself in my previous message so my gut instinct said to look this up. I searched for the company but couldn't locate a legit company that matched or had a job position open with the same title. I then found this website about other scams and found one exactly like what I had experienced, with Tamara Senault and everything. I blocked Tamara on Teams and reported the email that was originally sent to me.
