Description
Been receiving phone calls from EFX so I picked up today; he stated "I am with Experian and numerous people in FL have been defrauded and you are one of them" He then cited my SSN# in full! He said that a "David Garcia in Los Angeles, CA" has attempted to get a Wells Fargo CC using my SSN and kept asking questions to which I kept saying NO! He then gave me Case #FV74512 and said he was "transferring me to consumer affairs so that they could place a fraud on Wells Fargo" and I asked "what consumer affairs" and he said "I only am intake" - some guy answered phone and reiterated my SSN and while he was speaking I hung up the phone realizing it was a scam! Both male individuals were foreign. I reported to the State of Alabama and other 2 credit bureaus. Thank you
