I got a text from someone named Ethan claiming they saw me apply for a job as a transcriptionist. I didn’t remember applying to this company but I apply for a lot of things so I asked for a LinkedIn and company email. On further inspection there was many red flags with accepting this job offer. No last name mentioned, the website doesn’t have anyone named Ethan, he failed to give me his last name multiple times, absurd pay to draw victims in, the email is a scam email previously seen on this website ([email protected]), HR on the document had no contact information, etc. Very untrustworthy people in the job market, be safe and skeptical.
