Description
I was contacted by this company for a remote position via email for an interview on Teams. It had no date posted on when the interview was, only a link to it and what to reply when you entered the chat. The interview was standard, but “Grace Clayton” would take several minutes to reply. Afterwards, I received an official hire package with the forms to fill out and the contract to sign. My onboarding tests took a while to do and I found it strange how this wasn’t part of the interview process. Afterwards, I was given their “business account” to pay off my credit card so that I can buy my equipment. That should’ve been the red flag there. Afterwards, “Grace” would take almost hours to reply back when the funds didn’t clear right away. That’s when I knew that she was more than likely an AI chat bot. Emailing the W4 employment form, company contract and even ID should’ve been a red flag, but since I was so desperate for a job, I fell for it. Now they have my personal information including my SSN. So far, no fraudulent purchases have been made in my name. Please be aware of these people! Strive Consulting with a Grace Clayton are a SCAM!!!
