This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Fake SeatGeek rep was trying to help me get my refund from a concert ticket that was cancelled by the venue. He told me to make a gift card to send to myself and then give him the gift card code to “trick the system” of SeatGeek to get my refunds in my wallet.
