Description
I was originally contacted by email from Lisa Smith saying my resume was seen by Crossway Cargo and they were interested in me for a remote Quality Inspector position. She referred me to Michael Donahue who is supposedly the HR contact for Crossway Cargo. Michael then emailed me with the job description, company website, and a link to an employment application, which I completed and submitted. The same day, Michael called me and asked me a few questions, such as “do you have a vehicle” and “is there a UPS store/facility and a FedEx facility near to my residence”. He asked if I thought I could perform the duties described and if I was interested in the job, and I said yes. He followed up with an email containing a link to read and sign the employment agreement, which I did. I was skeptical for several reasons, one being that I wouldn’t be paid until 30 days after shipping the first package.
