Description

I had been looking at the Portland Leather Goods website for a while and I had been eyeballing a specific purse but I hadn't bought it because it was expensive and times are tough. Suddenly I got an ad on Facebook about a flash sale at "Portland Leather", which I didn't notice was missing the word "Goods". I decided to get a smaller item just to test it out before making any bigger purchases. When the order went through, I got an email from "fabrossa.com", which wasn't even supposed to be the website I was visiting. I thought I had been on the Portland Leather Goods website, but it turns out "Fabrossa" had copied their website perfectly to hook people in. I also received a tracking number from a supposed Chinese overseas courier service called "CC Express", but which had a website called "Track718.us". I submitted the order on August 28th, 2025 and the order receipt said I would receive the product in 3-5 business days, but I checked that tracking number every day and it said it was moving veeeeery slowly. Yesterday, September 29th, at around 7pm, I checked the tracking number again and it said that the package had been delivered on SEPTEMBER 30th at 11:24am. So, this supposed tracking service was telling me that my package had already been delivered in the future. I, of course, went and checked all of the places. My mail box, the concierge's desk, and the package delivery room, but there was nothing. Today, September 30th, I checked my bank account to see what company put through the charges into my account for that purchase and the charge said "VOUTFITS PICERN", which I just saw on the BBB website as a scam. So, I've definitely been scammed.
