Description
Received a letter in the mail with a paper looking like a faux check of $199.00 stating it's an "allocated waiver" and this is their "final attempt to notify [me]". Also states "immediate action requested" and the only option is to call them. It describes my vehicle in general, the dealership I bought it from, and is addressed to me. Has a 10 digit "record ID" and includes a random photo of a car similar to mine (same make and model, wrong color, year, and trim). Has a barcode on it when opened up. It does state at the very bottom in small print that these people are not affiliated with [my] dealership or manufacturer and that the faux check "is not a check".
