Description
Received a letter from Bridgecrest Acceptance which said I was 2nd place winner in $100 MM Publishers Clearinghouse Super Giveaway. It included what purported to be a Wells Fargo check fot $9,900 (for insurance and attorney fees) and a number to call (area code of Southern Ontario). Wanted me to tell no one and call to get my $2.5MM winnings. I checked online and found reports of almost identical scams listed om BBB website. These scammers are getting good. The check looks pretty good. One really has to be careful.
