This person claimed to be selling Mini Schnauzers her name is Melissa *******, the address provided on the bill of sale in Jacksonville Florida is fake, we had a meet up location planned after my husband and I had made the initial deposit of $300 dollars. She then asked $150 more due to document fees from printing , we refused because of course we did not want to give more money. She agreed to the meet up half way, then she proceeded to text us at 5 am and say her daughter was in the hospital and that she’d set up a delivery with a dog courier company. The company turns out to be fake, they send a tracking number but then they requested 1,000 for a crate which was ridiculous. I refused and asked for my money back, then she sent a picture that is clearly AI generated animation of her daughter which was clearly fake. I had even received videos and pictures of said puppy, it’s set up to look completely legit. This person is a dangerous scammer. The phone number of the shipping courier was a Los Angeles number, not even a Florida business number which made no sense. She then threatened to sue me and refused to give the money back, which is typical of a scammer. She also stated the puppy was AKC registered yet refused to give the register number. Please be aware of this person as this is not her first time scamming. She emails Legit papers for bill of sale, but with fake name and fake address and numbers. Please be aware to not send this person your information, as we did.
