Description
Shortly after buying a new house I received a letter which appears to have come from Community Mortgage Llc, the original mortgage company for my loan (it has already been sold). The body of the letter was: "This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at [my new address] secured by you current lender which is Community Mortgage Llc. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Please Call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-888-803-2351." Attached at the bottom of the letter is what looks like a check for $199.00, even though it says "THIS IS NOT A CHECK".
