It started out as a text message for a job offer. They said they got my contact information through zip recruiter. The first step was to download the whites digital app. I was promised a $900 base salary for every five days worked. The job consist of going through the Whites digital platform, accomplishing 3 task where the (myself) Promoters complete tasks, increasing app engagement and interaction data. Brands receive real user traffic, optimizing their marketing performance. Promoters earn salaries and commissions, enjoying flexible income opportunities. They seem to be huge on hitting combos. When that happens, you have to deposit more money into the Platform to continue. It was looking very promising until the fifth day. I originally deposited $1500 which put me at a level three for higher commissions. I was almost completely through all of my task until I hit the coveted combo. At which point I was supposed to come up with an additional $4000. When I pressed customer service that I couldn’t come up with it they said if you do not complete your task each day, you can no longer work for the company. I had a group chat on WhatsApp, which seemed pretty legitimate. It’s possible that I could’ve continued to see huge profits, but I was not willing to take that risk. I figured I would just eat the $790 loss and not risk tacking on another $4000.
