I initiated a purchase with taxidermyandskulls.com and received a confirmation number. I selected to pay by Zelle on this website since debit or credit was not an option. I was texted by the scammer using the name on the website, Mbaku Brown, who sent me Zelle information to pay. I paid $1000 and $25 on two separate days due to the $1000 Zelle limit per 24 hours. I requested a received shipping information from Panako Global Shipping. The email was highly suspicious with grammar errors and claimed that I owed $400 for insurance for my package since it was animal products seized by the authorities. They said I would get back 95% of this amount. This did not seem legitimate so I reached back out to the seller who told me to pay it. I told him to pay it and I would reimburse if this was real. He responded angrily and I ceased communications at this time after asking to cancel the purchase and for a refund, which he refused.
