Description
I ordered a dress from an Instagram targeted ad, it arrived and was horrible quality and not as pictured - clearly a scam website where the dress was shipped from China using YunExpress. The original website no longer exists and you just receive a "This page isn't working" error. There was also no phone number to contact them at originally. Now, they have a new website (lavishivy.com) and have clearly rebranded. Once you order a dress from them, they automatically sign you up for a "VIP Membership" at $29.99/mo, which is "detailed" at check-out where you are required to check a "I Agree to These Terms & Conditions" check box. I had to email the company the first time to cancel this membership --- I was not refunded due to the "timing" so now had bought a dress that I could not return and was charged for the first month of this membership. They cancelled it in March 2025 and all was well. Cut to September 01, 2025 and I have another $29.99 charge in my account from this company and they are saying it's for my VIP Membership. It is clearly a scam. I have attached my original emails where they confirmed cancellation of my membership back in March as reference.
