Description
About two months ago, I purchased a wig from a company called Ashimary Hair. Upon receiving the product, I was very dissatisfied. As an experienced wig purchaser, I immediately noticed several issues: the wig was extremely thin, the length did not match what was advertised, the cap size was too small, and the color was significantly darker than the “honey blonde” shade that was advertised. I contacted the company to request a refund or an exchange. The process was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I complied with every request from the company to prove that the wig had not been worn, altered, or damaged, and I provided all the documentation they asked for. Over the course of about a month, we exchanged numerous emails. Eventually, a representative from Asha Marie suggested that I pay an additional $72 to upgrade my order and return the original wig. I sent the requested payment. After receiving my money, the company provided me with a warehouse address for the return. However, when I attempted to confirm this with UPS, I was informed that the address was unclear and no proper contact information was associated with it. The only “contact” I was given was a single first name, which raised serious concerns about legitimacy. Since then, I have attempted to call the company multiple times, but no one answers the phone. At this point, I have paid both for the original wig and the additional $72, yet I have not received a proper resolution, nor have I been able to successfully return the product. I am filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau because I believe I have been misled and treated unfairly by Ashimary. I am seeking either a full refund including the $72 I paid additionally or the proper fulfillment of my order with a product that matches the description advertised.
