I received a strange message about a recent review of my application and basically a job interview. Here’s how the message goes. “ Hi “they used my first name”, Great News! After reviewing your application on Indeed/Zip Recruiter for the Customer Service position, we have decided we want to set up an interview with you at our office location TUES. SEPT 2 at 8:30 AM. Please reply back to schedule you in. ?? Victoria, HR, 281-809-7517” (8:24 AM) (Friday Aug 29, 2025) I didn’t get to look at my messages as I was busy running errands and such. But then I received an additional message that goes. “ Hi, we are trying to reach you about the position you applied for. If you are still looking for employment the interview will be for Tuesday at 8:45 am, please confirm if you are still interested. - Victoria, HR, 281-809-7517” (10:44 AM) (Saturday 30, 2025) So I replied with this. “ Good morning! Which company and position is this for?”(10:52 AM) (Saturday 30, 2025) They replied “ You applied for the customer service on Indeed with Pace Staffers for the company MoonSe Inc. Please refer back for more information. We are located at 13003 Justice Ave Baton Rouge, LA 70816 . Is this an easy commute so I can schedule you in?” (1:46 PM) (Saturday 30, 2025) I tried to search on indeed and zip recruiter both apps that I just started back using as I’m actively jobs hunting. So I replied with this “ I couldn't find my application but yes it's about 25 minutes to commute to the office what's the date and time of the interview? (1:52 PM) (Saturday 30, 2025) Your interview is set for Tuesday Sep 02 8:45 AM at 13003 Justice Ave Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Please ask for Eva at front desk. See you then!! (3:21 PM) Final selection will be made next week. Attire: Business casual preferred.(3:21 PM) (Saturday 30, 2025) After that I didn’t reply back due to errands again but started researching the location to which it’s a complex mixed with other businesses I’ve reported the jobs on indeed as well as zip recruiter! Stay safe out there folks the communication was already shady DO NOT IGNORE THE RED FLAGS!!! ??I don’t want to see anyone get scammed out of money or worse lose their life so REPORT REPORT REPORT! ??
