I saw an ad on my Facebook feed for Sundance Catalogue going out of business sale. Prices were crazy cheap (should have known). BUT researched and found that they were going out of business, and the site itself looked really legitimate, with navigation, clear image photos, etc. Confirmation of sale looked good. BUT then the email confirmation was from an address: elivina.com, with the header "IMW AWS." When I went to track shipment it sent me to "Track 718" with an address of "https://www.track718.us/en/detail?nums=SJHSD18723659YQ#google_vignette," saying the items were in transit. I went to BBB and found the scam described over the last two days! Back to the website I saw the redirected address, and that when you click "contact" it sends you to this email address: [email protected], which when researched suggests a scam. The charge has not "gone through" but I am more worried about my address, phone, email, and most, the credit card number being compromised. I can't believe I fell for this.
