I own a catering business and on August 27, 2025, I contacted a service which I found online to provide maintenance services for my fridge, which is having troubles keeping items cold. I phoned The A Team Appliance Repair company which advertised that they provide same-day service, however not only was this inaccurate but the service that they provided worsened the condition of my fridge. When the maintenance workers first arrived on August 28, 2025, they examined the fridge and stated that they simply needed to clean a pipe and that this would resolve any issues. They also stated that they needed a payment to be made either by cash or debit before the service could begin. Once the payment was done they began servicing the fridge and stated that they fixed the issue and left. However, this was inaccurate as the condition of the fridge worsened and has become unusable. On August 29, 2025, I contacted the company once again in order to file a complaint and request that they rectify the situation. However, they refused to send another repair worker and instead provided me with excuses and nonsense regarding false warranties. Therefore, this company demanded upfront payment for a service that further damaged my equipment, resulting in further loss for my business.
