Description
On 4/29/2025, I called what I thought was a legitimate Delta Airlines phone number to book flights for my wife and myself, but as I later discovered, I was actually connected to Airline Ticketing Services instead. They never told me they weren't associated with Delta. I've talked to my local police about this and they told me that this deception can be, and is, accomplished by some scammers. The agent, Packer Smith, initially booked me to the wrong island in Hawaii. At this point I became very suspicious of this company because of that blatant error, the long hold time to get booked, and the need to “approve” everything they did. No Airline does that! So, I called a different Delta number and got an actual Delta agent. He told me that Packer went online and booked tickets on my behalf and without my knowledge. Then, charged me separately an additional $301.10 for FLIGHTTCKT (see credit card statement). Because of the unethical practices of this company, I felt compelled to cancel my credit card before more potential fraud could take place. I then canceled the Delta flight and re-booked direct with Hawaiian Airlines. When I appealed to my credit card company about this, they denied my claim twice. The 1st time they said I didn't bother to follow up with them though the attached emails refute that claim. I also called them repeatedly, but Packer was never available and he never returned any of my calls. On the 2nd occasion, an agent of the credit card company apprised me that claim was denied because “I accepted their services.” I don't believe that being a victim of a con qualifies as a “service.” I didn't need anything from any agency, that's why I attempted to call the airline direct. At 79, I know I may be a little gullible, but I'm not a fool. Email: [email protected]: not valid. There phone number is 888 633 9077. I initially used 888 379 2569, but that number became either out of service or disconnected, not surprisingly.
