Interview and messages were through teams. Was hired and received an acceptance letter. They ran a background check, so they now have my ID and SSN. I can't delete it off the portal that they have for "work". The portal for work has information of when other employees have their birthday that day. There are links to speak with IT or put in tickets. The work site seemed legit and is why I continued for a bit. I was told I would have to do training. When I clicked on the training I had to pay. I chose the lowest one and paid $40. When I did the training, no videos popped up. I thought maybe it was something I did but answered the quiz questions. I was told I would move on to the next process of getting a computer and equipment sent. I was told I needed to talk to IT about the software and installation and that it would be shipped out in a week. I thought it was odd that why would I need to install anything if they were sending the equipment. They told me what was needed and to go to their software store. It shows I have to pay $200 dollars for software and can be reimbursed. When I looked at the payment options they didn't allow Debit and the main option was Bitcoin or Credit Card. It says with approval from management you can pay with CashApp.
