Description
I was orginally contacted via email by a recruiting company for a Quality Control Inspector Job offer. The email address showed a man's name but it was a woman who reached out to me and then claimed that her husband had the same last name as me. I responded asking for more information and received a 2nd email that had a document attached that said "Dear Applicant". Both the recruiting company email and the follow-up email that had the company information in a document seemed to indicate possible fraud. I have attached the orginal email, but can send the follow-up email if you want. The follow-up email appears to come from the company itself and is addressed to me, though the attached document says "Dear Applicant". The website appears legit, but I am less familiar with how to tell a websites legitimacy. When checking certificate it shows the certificate was valid effective 8/04/25 which seems odd if the company has been in business for 5 years. It supposedly expires on 11/02/2025. I did not apply to anything and the only thing I downloaded was the attached document in the email which I hope doesn't come back to bite me. I opened their webpage in an incognito browser to see what was on it. The website claims to have a 2025 copyright.
