Description
Someone claiming to work for the Publicis Groupe texted me a “job offer”. Here are the contents of the message: “Hello, my name is Isabella and I'm a recruiter at Publicis Groupe. We saw your profile on several online recruitment platforms and were impressed by your background and experience. We are currently offering a flexible part-time opportunity where you can work in your free time. This position is responsible for assisting YouTubers and major brands to increase data traffic. The work content is simple, and we will provide free training to help you get started quickly. The daily salary ranges from US$50 to US$3000. You can get a salary of US$600 for 3 days of work, and you can get your salary immediately after the work is completed. All payments are paid on the same day. If you would like to join us and are 20 years old or above, please send a text message to this mobile number:+12157830962” An internet search stated that the Publicis Groupe only recruits employees via official channels like their website or job portals. I didn’t fall for the scam so the texter did get the chance to ask for sensitive details. I just looked up “Publicis Groupe scam text”, saw the scam evidence, and reported the text message. I will also try to contact PG via an email I saw on their website, as the internet search suggested.
