Description
The scammer tried to use the overpayment scam on our small family business. Below is what they said after I sent an electronic invoice. "I will pay $500 deposit now and the balance next week. I need your little assistance regarding the decorator I’m using for the event. I need you to add $2000 with your deposit of $500 and $150 as a tip for you, Send an invoice payment of $2650 with square fees. I will get it paid, when the funds are in your account, you will send $2000 to my decorator. Thank you." I told them to f@#k off and canceled the invoice.
