Wife needed to apply for new passport. Google sponsored ad had "mypassporthub.com" on its search page. She selected it. We discovered an error and started to backtrack. We found that they charge people for filling out a form and providing it in PDF. They produce no real service, but they make it seem like they are the US Government. They have disclaimers that are literally in the small print on their web pages. My bigger concern is that SSN and birthdate are collected. I'm more concerned about that information floating out there versus the $114 we lost. Google AI thinks they are in Wyoming. I would think the state legal authorities would want to dig into this. Also, the fact that it received Google Sponsor status seems questionable.
