I came across a professionally presented job posting on Monster for a remote benefits program specialist position with a company called Global Elite Empire. I applied with my resume and followed the link to the site. My resume contains personally identifiable information. About an hour after applying I received and email from one of their “recruiters” asking me to watch their introductory webinar. When I followed the link I decided to click around the website and locate any information about the company and there was nothing. It seemed uncanny so I did not continue the application and decided to search the company online with zero search results.
