I received a suspicious letter in the mail with a FINAL NOTICE warning about my mortgage for my home. It has some basic info about my mortgage lender. There is a phone number that they want me to call within 7 days of receipt. The phone number listed is not associated with my mortgage lender. There is also a fake check attached for an "Allocated Waiver" for $199.00. It looks pretty convincing, but there is no signature. I am willing to send the letter to the BBB for evidence.
