I discovered a business called EnchantedStepsTM through TikTok and Instagram (@enchanted.steps), where they claim to design and handcraft luxury heels inspired by Disney princesses. They promote themselves as a unique small business with custom-made footwear, but this appears to be a scam. After looking closely at their product videos and photos, I realized the shoes they sell are not original or handmade. They are mass-produced heels sourced from Amazon and international websites like DesertCart, which are then resold under false claims at significantly marked-up prices. For example, their “Cinderella” heels are listed on their website for $99.95 (on sale for $59.95). I found the exact same shoes listed on DesertCart India for about $10 USD, and similar ones on Amazon for $55. Their “Belle” heels were traced back to an Amazon listing for $44.99, while the same shoes are sold on their site for $90. The seller edits product photos by adding filters and floor reflections to make them appear unique. They also use “™” next to their name, implying they have a registered trademark, but a search on the USPTO trademark database shows that no such trademark exists. When I commented about these findings on their TikTok, they immediately blocked my account. Their website also includes incomplete legal information, with placeholders like “[INSERT BUSINESS ADDRESS]” still visible. This business is misleading customers through false branding, product misrepresentation, and inflated pricing.
