A fraudulent company operating under the name Cargory Shipping is running a fake employment scam, offering remote job opportunities to unsuspecting applicants. Victims are contacted via WhatsApp by someone claiming to be a hiring manager and are presented with a professional-looking job offer and employment contract. The position is advertised as fully remote with an hourly wage, comprehensive benefits, and a legitimate-sounding title such as "Procurement Officer." To appear credible, the scammers: Share a link to a professionally designed fake website (cargoryshipping.com). List a real logistics company’s address (8650 Milliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) as their headquarters, without authorization. Claim that they operate out of a shared logistics hub managed by TPFS Warehouse, which is completely false. Send a forged employment contract, signed by a fabricated HR manager, using fake contact information and job details. Encourage quick onboarding and ask for verification steps that may lead to requests for personal information or banking details (a common pattern in employment scams). This scam is highly deceptive because it uses a legitimate company’s address and branding to gain the trust of applicants. TPFS Warehouse has confirmed that it has no relationship whatsoever with Cargory Shipping and did not authorize the use of its address or company name. Anyone receiving job offers from Cargory Shipping should avoid providing any personal information, stop communication immediately, and report the incident to the FTC, BBB, and IC3.gov.
