I received an email offer for a remote job that I posted looking for on LinkedIn, was communicating through Teams with their HR from Viant Medical, then she directed me to hiring manage and that he will go over everything. I was asked to purchase a phone and iPad in my name so that they can install the software. I was to purchase take pictures front and back and send directly to an address provided. then it was "Time Tracking software" needed to track my time and that it will cost $300.00, I was to get an Apple card and send pictures front and back to Robert Crull so they can install the software, then they needed another $300.00, the company they go through didn't give them the deal so it was now $600.00 why they are asking for another $300.00. today they are needing another $200.00, last item and then they can send all the items to me to do the job.. when I told him I don't have another more money, I told everything is hold up until they get the $200.00. They say they will reimburse all expenses but can't until I pay the last $200.00. I told him I was done and wanted my items back of course they can't because the software is installed. I told him I was going to record them to BBB and he told me I was acting emotionally and to sleep on it. but nothing is going to change until I pay the $200.00. I now have two contractors with T-Mobile and out almost $1000.00. I don't know what to do. The lady that I started with is on LinkedIn but not the guy I am dealing with. her name is Jennifer Patterson, and his name is Robert Crull, he sent me his DL I think to make me think this is all good.
