I came across an advertisement on TikTok promoting what appeared to be the "famous ComfyCouch" for $45.00. The product was shown in a video, and I was genuinely interested due to the low price and large size of the couch. When I clicked the link provided in the TikTok post, it did not redirect me to TikTok Shop as I expected. Instead, it took me to a separate website that appeared legitimate. I was able to select the color of the couch and complete my purchase through the "Shop" app a platform I have used and trusted in the past to track purchases and shipments. After completing my order, I received a confirmation email that included a tracking link. However, after one to two weeks, I noticed that there was no movement or updates on my order. When I attempted to use the tracking link provided in the email, I discovered that the website had been taken down and was no longer accessible. I have not received the product, nor have I been able to obtain any further information about the company or my order. I am submitting this report to alert others and request assistance, if possible, in taking action against the entity responsible.
