I was online looking to find the best price for a flight for my wife and I from Jacksonville, Florida to Guadalajara, Mexico. I came across this website that seemed like a travel agency where the price was much cheaper than what I was finding on Google Flights. So, I tried to book a flight and ended up making a reservation with someone whose email name is Shawn Wilmington. He had my credit card info as I paid $416 for the flights. He said as he was buying discounted fares it would be a few weeks before he could issue the tickets, which sounded fishy to me, but I have seen that before when working with a travel agency. I asked when he would have the tickets, he said the last week in June at the latest as the flights were for July 10th. So, since this is the last week in June, I have attempted to contact Shawn via both his email address and the phone number he gave me. I have tried for three days and have yet to hear from him, but I did call the number and talked to a female,whose English was limited. I gave her the reservation number that Shawn had given me and she acted like she could not find the reservation, but I thought she said she would have Shawn call me back. I am still waiting to hear from Shawn. Meanwhile, about two weeks ago, someone tried to use my credit card that I used for this reservation. Fortunately, my credit card company suspected a fraudulent charge and contacted me. So, we had to cancel that credit card as it was compromised.
