Description
I received a voicemail from a man identifying himself as Andrew Mason, claiming to be from the "Mason Law Firm." He said he was a “compliance officer” calling in reference to someone named **, and stated that there was a case against her where my name was “somehow affiliated.” He insisted I call back at 833-813-4429, referencing a “case file” and claiming this was a “legal notification by telephone.”
When I returned the call, the man was extremely unprofessional and aggressive. I informed him that any legal matters should be addressed through my attorney. He refused and instead mocked me, saying, “Congrats, you’re the reason she’s going to get sued,” before abruptly hanging up.
Prior to this, someone physically came to our home but did not identify themselves professionally or present any legal documents. They mentioned my address and job, and threatened service. No court papers were provided.
This interaction felt like a deliberate attempt to harass and intimidate. It was full of vague threats, emotional manipulation, and legally questionable language. No valid legal documentation was ever provided. It appears to be a scam exploiting fear and personal information.
Why I Believe It’s a Scam:

-
Threatening, manipulative, and unprofessional behavior.
