THIS IS THE EMAIL I SENT AFTERPAY, TO PURCHASE I HAD TO USE THEIR SERVICE. (NO OHIO SALES TAX WAS PAID BTW) I am writing to formally report and register a dispute regarding a recent transaction with your platform. Your organization is enabling and financially benefiting from a fraudulent merchant operating on your platform. On 10/28/2026, I purchased GE Dishwasher for $213.00 from ET Electronics. To date, the merchant has failed to provide a purchase receipt, order confirmation, or estimated delivery date. By permitting this merchant to operate under your purview while retaining transaction fees or financial benefits, your platform bears secondary liability for facilitating these deceptive practices. Please be advised that if this matter is not resolved immediately via a full refund, I will escalate this issue. I am prepared to file formal reports detailing these activities with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), and relevant state Attorneys General. Counterfeit Product - Product not as advertised / displayed on website

I had high hopes for a HAND CRAFTED rain drum, believing it was made by Margaret Hayes, an older woman who had spent her entire life working in an Arizona steel mill. However, my expectations were shattered when upon delivery, I discovered that the product I purchased was a counterfeit. Before I found the BBB site, I had attempted to find out if there really was such a person that scammers stole from, copying HER advertisement, photos and information. Instead I found numerous “small crafters/artists” sites selling identical products. Frustrated and disheartened, I decided to stop wasting my time and energy and just focus on shutting them down and getting my money back. I had already experienced frustration, embarrassment, and anger for purchasing a counterfeit product and being scammed. It was disheartening to think that something sold on Shopify, a platform that should have been vetted, could still be a scam. I had always used PayPal for safety and anonymity, but this time, I had not. I wondered if this was another clue that the seller was not legitimate. I placed my order on October 8, 2026, and it took until October 31, 2026, for it to arrive. The delivery company was GOFO, an international delivery service, the return address on the package was Hialeah, Florida, instead of Sedona, Arizona, as stated in the description. This discrepancy raised suspicions that something was amiss. Upon opening the package, I was immediately disappointed. The rain drum was not the special, handmade product I had been eagerly anticipating. Instead, it was missing three out of five items and was clearly an inferior product made with cheap, subpar materials in a mass-production facility. The tiny booklet that came with the drum stated that the drum was made of alloys, was intended for indoor use only, and was not to be used in wet conditions. This information contradicted the description of the product and further indicated that it was a counterfeit. The advertisement claims that the REAL rain drum is “crafted from Powder-coated carbon steel, sealed against rust and UV. It holds its tuning through a full year OUTDOORS.” Finally, the refund policy for the rain drum on Shopify provides instructions on how to initiate a return. It states: “To start a return, you can contact us at [email protected]. Please note that returns must be sent to the following address: 101, 1st Floor, Leituo Technology Second Park, No. 12, Yuandong Road, Jiahe Street, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.” However, I didn’t verify this information because one of the statements IN the description “guaranteed a full refund within 30 days, no questions asked, and no forms required, provided the return is made within 30 days” so I didn’t feel the need to click on the return/refund policy like I normally would. Lastly, is the return address Hialeah Florida? Nope. It is 101, 1st Floor, Leituo Technology Second Park, No. 12, Yuandong Road, Jiahe Street, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. Unbelievable. I am quite sure that having to return the drum to China through customs would be expensive. I’m certain that’s what they’re counting on. Please report or take action to shut them down if possible. Thank you.

This business marketed itself on Instagram under the name SeoulxSpace and had a separate page (SeoulxSpaceTrades) where it would interact with potential customers more intimately to promote the company. Claims were constantly made of a physical store opening but none exists. The “store” takes new orders daily but rarely fulfills them and does not respond to inquiries about missing orders. Following multiple reports from previous dissatisfied buyers, the “business” contacted current customers, encouraging them to move to Discord for all purchase updates. Items would be shared for purchase via PayPal invoices, but no updates were ever given about items’ whereabouts or order statuses. After it was confirmed that a large number of orders would not be fulfilled, the business transitioned to a new Instagram page PacificxPulse and the Discord server became managed by a customer. Home Improvement - Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning Business Scam

I found this duct cleaning company on Google Maps and called them. They quoted $150 for the job and scheduled a technician to come out. Before the appointment I drove to the address on their listing — 467 Silver St, Agawam, MA 01001. It is Witch Enterprises Inc, a concrete cutting and construction company that has operated at that location for decades. I spoke with the business in person and confirmed that no duct cleaning company operates there. The address belongs to an unrelated legitimate business and is being used without their knowledge. When the company called back, I told them I had been to the address and found another business there. The representative first insisted the address was correct and said they had moved to a “home office after COVID,” then hung up on me. That explanation does not hold: a home-based business would list the home, not another company’s property. Other warning signs on the listing: The listed phone number is a 339 area code (Boston area, about 90 miles away), not the local 413 code for western Massachusetts. There are no photographs of any premises, vehicle, equipment, or completed work — only a Street View image of someone else’s property. Every reviewer profile is restricted and shows no other review history, consistent with purchased or bulk-generated accounts. The business name is keyword-stuffed, matching known lead-generation spam patterns. There is no website and no BBB record for this company. The representative spoke with a strong non-local accent, which together with the out-of-area number suggests an offshore call center rather than a local Agawam business. The $150 quote is also well below the $450–$1,000 range NADCA cites as typical, consistent with a bait price meant to get someone into the home. I cancelled before anyone arrived and paid nothing. The listing is still active.

Home Improvement - Priority Fencing / Framed Up Fencing

I am reporting an individual, Richie Maestas, operating under the business name "Priority Fencing" (no other details like zip code etc.) for taking my $500 and failing to provide the service. My neighbor engaged this individual for our shared fencing work. Subsequently I verbally discussed a separate arrangement for a new backyard gate and some backyard board work. He asked for the advance of $500, which I gave him on 10/26/26 with personal check. Richie M immediately in cashed the check. Then he started making excuses first saying weather is too cold to do the work, later saying the dealer said backyard boards will be delivered tomorrow 10/27/26, on the truck etc. I was following up and he stopped responding, when I sent him message saying I'm going to report this as scam he reacted saying I don't like that and then made an excuse that he is busy with Kids school. When I subsequently researched the individual and his business history, I discovered multiple publicly available consumer reviews describing similar experiences failure to deliver agreed material and service and no refunds. I shared these reviews with the individual when raising my concerns. Rather than addressing the outstanding $500 payment, he responded with insulting, abusive and personally accusatory messages, including derogatory comments about my family and character.

Once that is established, you will be activated and you start reviewing the ads for payment. I didn't get to the last part. My bank alerted me to the scam and my bank will be disputing the transaction.
