Online Purchase - Look alike online clothing site

I am submitting this report to warn other consumers about my experience with Curve & Bloom. I placed an order for clothing through this company's website and paid for merchandise that I have still not received. The tracking information indicated that my package was in transit, but it has not updated since October 4, 2026. Despite the lack of tracking updates and the fact that my order remains undelivered, the company continues to state that my package is on its way without providing me with a confirmed delivery date or satisfactory evidence of recent shipping activity. When I sought a resolution, I received an email from a team identifying itself as the “Dispute Resolution Support Team.” Rather than resolving the non-delivery issue with a full refund, I was offered only a 30% partial refund with no return required. The email also emphasized that pursuing a chargeback could involve returning merchandise to an international address, paying international return shipping costs, and waiting through a lengthy review process. However, I have not received the merchandise in the first place, so I am not seeking to return an item I received. I find this proposed resolution concerning because I paid for an order that has not been delivered, yet I am being asked to accept a substantial financial loss rather than receive a full refund. I am sharing this experience so other consumers can exercise caution before purchasing from Curve & Bloom. I encourage shoppers to research the company carefully, save their order confirmations and tracking information, and understand the refund policy before making a purchase. As of the date of this report, my package has not arrived, and my issue remains unresolved though the company. I did receive a full refund to my original payment method from my credit card carrier. I am submitting this report to document my experience and help other consumers make informed purchasing decisions.

A fake listing for a 2023 Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo ($75,199, VIN shown WP0CD2Y10PSA90228, stock A90214) was posted by "ALAA Auto Sales" of Boise, ID at alaautosales.com (registered 9/25/2026 at Name.com, now on clientHold) and syndicated to AutosToday, vinassessment, vininspect, and Carfax. I ordered a True Love's Deluxe arrangement for 99 dollars from bloom flower delivery on Oct. 18th to be delivered at my wife's job on the 19th for our anniversary. I even payed an additional charge to have it delivered by 1pm instead of the standard 5pm. The flowers never arrived. I called them at 9am on the 20th and requested a refund since it failed to arrive and planned on just taking her out to pick her on flowers. I was informed that there was an issue with the delivery and that it was remade and out for delivery again so they couldn't do a full refund but did refund the additional charge for the 1pm delivery. Her flowers finally arrived in the evening after 4pm on the 20th and was not what I ordered it was supposed to be red roses, white montecasinos, and eucalyptus in a vase instead she got a couple red roses with brown spots already starting. No vase and no other flowers. Literally something I could have got from a corner store for 10 bucks or less and we are still battling for a refund.

Online Purchase - Smoochme

On July 27, 2026, I purchased a lip plumper from Tatiana Chanel’s online business, order #10434. As of October 21, 2026, I have not received my order. I was provided a USPS tracking number, but the tracking status has continued to indicate that USPS has not received the package. I repeatedly contacted the business through its social media accounts, often every few days, but received no response and was blocked. On October 7, I contacted the customer service number the business had recently provided, 754-837-9582, explained the issue, and supplied my order number. On October 9, the business responded that some orders had been returned because of incorrect addresses and stated that those orders would be reshipped the following day. However, the business did not confirm whether my specific order was affected or verify my shipping address. On October 12, I asked whether I would receive a new confirmation email and tracking information. As of October 21, I have received no response to that message, no updated tracking information, and no product. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this directly with the business, my order remains unfulfilled nearly three months after purchase. I am requesting a full refund or the product.

Home Improvement - Nova Plumbing, Splash HVAC

In June 2026, we called for emergency help with an active water leak in our home that required opening part of the ceiling. The company's technician did the repair over two days. On the day the work was completed, the technician waited outside and pressed to be paid immediately. I told him I couldn't get on the phone for about 40 minutes and that my spouse had concerns about the cleanup. He still offered to charge my spouse right away rather than wait to discuss the bill with me. Under that pressure, we paid in full by credit card that day. The site was left messy, including a brush left in a toilet and drywall debris in and around computer equipment. In person and by phone, the technician told me the pipe had burst. He said the labor cost was high because of demolition and debris removal. This mattered because our homeowner's insurance does not cover "wear and tear." The written report he gave us contradicted what he told us. It blamed the leak on scratched, worn and "rusty" pipe (for a PVC line), then added a single line saying the pipe had burst. It never mentioned demolition or debris removal. A revised invoice split the charges into labor and materials, but the labor line read "Lab and chicken" instead of "labor." From June through October, I asked in writing more than a dozen times for a corrected invoice. I asked him to describe the burst pipe as he had explained it to us, explain the labor charges, and fix the typo. He agreed every time but did not follow through. He repeatedly said he had sent the document when nothing had arrived. He asked for my email address again several times and at one point asked me to write the text for him. In October he twice re-sent the same uncorrected invoice. Shortly after the repair, we had to hire a second licensed plumber. That plumber found the pipe had not been set straight and said the problem would quickly come back if it wasn't corrected. Their fix cost a small fraction of the original bill. That made clear the original charges were substantially above market rate, and our insurer has since declined to cover a large share of the bill for the same reason.

Debt Collections - Ability Recovery Group

I reached out to the number listed to dispute an amount showing in collections. I reached the same representative (identified himself as Paul when asked) twice on two different days and also asked to speak to a supervisor to which he replied each time “he is at lunch you can leave a message on his voicemail”. I was transferred to a robotic voicemail but received a call back from THE SAME REPRESENTATIVE that answered the phone the other two times. The amount this company is trying to collect is double the actual owed amount to the school they claim to be representing (Walden University). I have a school invoice with the current owed amount which is 2,700. When I asked for a debt validation letter he stated “I will not send one. We don’t do that.” The call was supposedly recorded so this can be verified if need be. I asked how am I supposed to know how to rectify this without proof of the debt? He replied back with “I’m telling you the amount and you can pay over the phone.” I declined. I then reached out again today for a letter to be sent to me he stated that one was sent to the address on file. I let them know that the address he provided was not my address. I provided a current address and requested a letter. Paul then stated that he would “put in a request for a letter to be mailed”. I am currently waiting on a letter to show up. The amount they are requesting is incorrect and double that of which is owed to the school. I’ve also confirmed that I can pay my amount owed directly to the school. Request this company be investigated and disputed.

Phishing - Boker imposter

My husband is 92 and a GM retiree. He went to the GM website for something and an ad popped up for Boker. It said that seniors had free money coming. He clicked on it and the next thing he knew he got a phone call from 888-778-0494. The man on the line told him that Boker is a non-governmental company and they are giving every senior citizen in the U.S. a $2680 one-time gift card. They needed to come to our home via an appointment to give it to us and my husband agreed and gave our address. The man made an appointment to come out next week (week of 10/26/26). I was leary when he told me this and so I called BBB in my state. BBB was very helpful and kind and told me that if something sounds too good to be true, it is. If anyone comes knocking on my door I will be reporting it to the police department. When I googled "Boker" the only thing I could find was that it is a knife manufacturer from Germany with a U.S.-based operations center in Lakewood, CO. Is Boker trying to sell knives door to door /in homes and then give gift cards as an incentive? But they specifically said that all seniors were going to receive a $2680 check. The 888 phone number is not a working number when I tried to call it back.

Tech Support - Online Retail Scam

They call asking about printer ink cartridges. I told them what we used, and they sent me an ink cartridge. Told them i did not need one they sent it anyways. Then they proceeded to send me 3 more that I told them I do not want. They sent them anyways. They called to have me pay the invoice. I asked if I paid this invoice they wouldn't send me anymore, they said they would never send any without my okay. 2 weeks later received more. Told them I cannot use them and they sent me 2 more ink cartridges that were different. STILL TOLD THEM I DID NOT WANT THEM and they sent them still. I have tried to tell them I do not want these and that I will not pay an invoice for products that I said that I did not want. They still keep hounding me about the cartridges that I have returned and DO NOT WANT. They tried to threaten to charge me a restocking fee for these cartridges that I did not ask for in the first place when I tried to return them.

Employment - Eliassen Group Imposter Employment Advance Fee Resume Services Phishing and Identity Theft Scam

I was approched via email about a phantom job position with a major hotel brand. They were inpersonating an EVP of a well known staffing agency. Once I sent my resume, the person sourcing told me the hiring manager wanted to interview me and provided a date and time. They never provided an actual Zoom or Teams meeting link either. However, they proceeded to ask me for additional documentation, which was an operational excellence sheet. What I originally provided, the sorcer told me was wrong and had me connect with a "resume writer" to update it. That's when they charged me for said updated document. After doing so, and sending the updated document, they proceeded to ask me for additional documentation trying get me to work with and pay their "documentation expert" to provide them. After realizing what they were trying to do, I withdrew, blocked and reported them.

Government Agency Imposter

My husband and I went to the site to renew our passports. We were charged $130 each and also a $80 fee for TSA precheck by the site uspassportsandvisa.org. I did not find out it was a scam until today when I called the Travel.state.gov to ask if I could continue my renewal (we cancelled the trip to Saint Martin because my mom started passing away from Cancer). The Travel.State.Gov had no information about our online application and informed me that we were scammed-both my husband and I.
