    My mom purchased new furniture from Izzy’s in May of 2022 for cash (tax free) total of $1,236. This was to be custom made, resized sofa and chair for the reason that her apartment is very small and being almost 90 years old, comfort and assess-ability is a main concern. What she ordered and paid for and what she got were 2 different things. We wanted medium firm cushions, she got super firm cushions. After owner, Izzy visited her apt, he agreed to make it right and took the cushions to have them re-made. However, he chose to have them pull the original covers over the new, softer cushions. Even though we told him this will not work since the covers had aldy been stretched due to the prev bigger and firmer ones. However, he assured us that it’ll be ok. Later, I sent him pictures showing how the covers and the new cushions looked and he agreed to have them all redone. Fast forward 5 months later, she still doesn’t have a comfortable livable space. She pd cash for a sofa and a chair custom sized for her small space which included 3 pillows of which we are still missing one!! Couple of weeks ago we stopped by and he told us he’s willing to take her new sofa and chair back and give her another sofa for an additional $400. When I asked why the addl $400, he told us because the piece he’s “giving” us is an “$1,800” piece. We agreed that he would just give her the sofa, pick up the sofa and chair he sold us back in May and only chrg $100 for del/pickup. So we shook hands and agreed even though she knew she was being ripped off, I tried to convince her that her comfort is worth more.On Saturday 10/15, when the new sofa was delivered, I notice that they had brought the floor piece instead of a factory wrapped new sofa. So I refused this delivery and have asked since then for return of the furniture and a full refund. I’m now reaching out to you for help since he’s refusing our request. The price of the sofa he was exchanging is $899 new and his floor models run b/w $399-$499
