American Vision Windows did an AMAZING job. Not only did we receive quality windows but the exceptional serve that the crew provided was incredible and professional. The attention to detail and the overall work from start to finish, shows that AVW and the workers take pride in what they do. Best part, they cleaned up after themselves leaving my house as if no work was done... win win for me. Highly recommend American Vision Windows!!

We went into contract in October 2022 for 7 Windsor wood windows and to this day (August 2024) the project is still incomplete. We spent over $40K for our windows and the largest one sat in their warehouse for several months waiting for parts to come in. When they finally installed it, it is obvious that the window is defective. It does not align, close or seal properly. They shaved/sanded a lower corner to try to make it close and when it was unsuccessful, they removed the weather strip as if we would not notice. They also drilled holes on the window frame and then removed latches when it would not close. We are now requesting the window to be removed and to order a new window because the minute that it arrived to the warehouse in pieces back in 2023, it should have been sent back to the manufacturer. When you purchase a window from the manufacturer it should be manufactured assembled to honor the guarantee. Not have the installer (American Windows) make alterations to force it to fit. We went with Windsor per the recommendation from Jake Harren, the owner's son. When we told him that the workmaship was poor and that the delays were frustrating, his response was that it was a common situation with Wood Windows. I pointed out that we took his recommendation to heart and that is why we purchased them. Overall there's been issues with each window, hardware not working properly, staples showing on the windows (no putty or stain), wrong coil colors, screen colors, etc. The initial installation happened in late May 2023. It was supposed to take 1 day. The last window was installed March 2024. Almost 2 years since our contract was signed, we are still waiting for them to complete the work. No quality control, no follow up on pending items, unless I initiate it. Lack of communication from supervisors. Everyone gives us the run around. They do not provide the service and quality they claim and promise in their advertising.

Amazing Experience! We love our new Anlin windows. My Project Manager: Mike W***** was extremely knowledgeable and patient as we got bids from other contractors. After seeing three of my friends who used American Vision Windows we decided it was worth it to pay a little more to get a better looking installation and double lifetime warranty. In the end we are so happy we went with American Vision Windows. Once we signed the contract the Measure Technician was efficient and accurate with gathering our final measurements. Then approximately 10-12 weeks later the Installation Coordinator: Angela followed up as promised in our lead time. The Installation Team arrived at 8am and they were finished installing 12 windows and 2 patio doors in less than 8 hours. WOW! They worked so efficiently and cleaned up everything before they left. The Crew Leader even showed us how to operate and clean our windows at the end so we can keep them looking new. Our new custom windows look so much better than our old windows. Plus, our house is cleaner, quieter and more energy efficient. We saved over 10% on our electricity in the first year (even with adding air conditioning). Even though my husband didn't support this project at first afterwards he was wondering why we didn't do it sooner! LOL Getting new windows has been life changing since we live next to a busy road and under the flight path for military jets. The noise cancelling effects makes our home more tranquil and relaxing. We also have so much less dust which we didn't expect. It truly feels great to support an employee owned local company founded by a loving couple. I highly recommend choosing American Vision Windows for your home!

We started working with American Vision Windows in June 2023 to have new windows installed. To date, this project remains incomplete. First issue encountered was the company ordered the wrong size window, and instead of taking responsibility for the error and moving in the direction of service recovery, we were blamed and told we will need to pay the difference between the window delivered and the one will clearly told the salesperson we wanted. Second issue experienced was the company's lack of oversight and communication with the contractors assigned to do the work. We were provided a window of time when contractors were scheduled to complete tasks, however, on several occasions, the time period ended with absolutely no status update from the company. When we reached out to the company we were provided the contractors information to follow up ourselves. Lastly, when we signed the contract with American Vision Windows, we were told by the salesperson that he would oversee our project through completion with routine check-ins. No one has initiated contact with us. We will not be using this company again.

I would not recommend this company. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I bought and had them install triple pane windows with a lifetime warranty. During the rains last weekend, the rain was coming into my house through one of the windows. I’ve spoke to multiple people via chat and over the phone. They keep telling me that someone from service will get back to me, which they have not done.

Just a note to beware of www.americanvisionwindows.com & www.simplysolarsocal.com. They do not honor their warranties on their solar panels. In July we discovered two of our solar panels are not producing electricity. The converter is not sending information to Edison. At first the contact at American Vision stated it is not their concern to contact Simply Solar. Now Simply Solar states the warrantee is under American Vision. After numerous attempts to American vision, now no one will answer or return our phone calls. On a second note, does anyone have a recommendation for a good solar repair/service company and a good lawyer. The Better Business Bureau is next on my list. Thank you

Hello all Im being very generous to rate American vision windows with one star. They do not stand behind their product and the installation. My experience is this: I had a complete new window installation of all the windows in my home located in Hermosa Beach Ca. 90254, a total of approximately 14 windows. These windows I was told were of premium quality the highest line of their window products. Shortly after the expiration of my warranty one window started leaking water inside my home which was a direct result of the window seal not being adequate or the window product expanding and contracting over time. I expected to have no issue when I brought this issue to the attention of American Vision, to my surprise I was informed it would cost me Approximately $150.00 for a technician to come out and resolve the issue. I submitted to the arrangement knowing I could not afford to have rain damage during the next rainy season or one day of rain, due to the severity of the leak. The technician came out and supposedly repaired the leak by resealing the window. To my dismay the next rainy day caused more damage to my interior as a result of the leak not being fully repaired. I called American vision windows again and they informed me they would not be coming out again because there was nothing they could do to resolve the problem. Im very disappointed to say the least considering they're insincere advertising about product and service satisfaction. I am a licensed Contractor in the state of California and I had a competitor come out as well to inspect the window. We both agreed in our professional opinion the work was substandard and that is why the leak occurred. I don't trust American Vision Windows. BEWARE!!!!
