I purchased a travel trailer and need to have warranty work done. Pan Pacific is a branded dealer for all Keystone trailers. They are the only dealer in the local area to have the work done. I called to make an appointment and they denied me an appointment because I didn't buy the unit from Pan Pacific. How is this legal? They are the dealer authorized by Keystone to perform the work. This feels like discrimination. I need this addressed please.Pan Pacific RV Center Response

Please provide your contact information including year, make, model and the service repair requested on your RV and one of the managers will contact you. We can also assist you in finding another dealer or a certified independent repair facility who may have an earlier appointment.Customer Response

. ************** was contacted by our ***********(********) facility this week and was given an appointment for Friday June 10th to address his service needs. Our ********** location is unable to accept outside service work during our busy season due to many factors including the number of customers weve accumulated over 50 plus years. We are unable to expand the ********** location due to limitations of physical space, lack of labor and city ordinances.Customer Response

*********** Pan Pacific contacted me with a weeks notice to drive my trailer an hour away to get serviced. I was told it could take up to five-weeks. And the Pan Pacific ********** folks are out right lying to you. I was very clearly told that they are not scheduling maintenance work for non-customers. How is this a solution?Review from Peg M

This is the worst place for customer service. I recently purchased a one year old used travel trailer from a private party (seller bought it new at Pan Pacific) and have service scheduled for tomorrow, Monday. I called today Sunday at 10:06 am, left a message asking if I could drop the trailer this afternoon and stated "if I don't hear from you saying that would be a problem, I'll bring it down, otherwise call me at xxxxxxxxxx" Well no call so I took it down. The manager I guess, looked at me and said "you can't drop off your trailer for service, Service is closed, ". I explained the message I left. He said "well our voice mail doesn't work wifi problems, you should have called again" I replied "well that's on you but apparently now it's on me" Never an apology. Long story short he told me four times that service was closed. He continued to man ***** and stated "if you had a doctor's *********** you wouldn't show up Sunday" Really? I'm a retired ER nurse and could hardly swallow that analogy. I asked if I could drop it off at **** for my **** then he man splanned that service was like an auto dealer and you have a service advisor who could not possibly talk to me before ****. Really? So we have gone from a medical analogy to a car dealership analogy. I thought if it was like a car dealership I could drop the keys in the night box and be done. I am looking for another RV dealership to do a one year service. Women you have been warned, this guy is a man splanner @@@@@@@!.Pan Pacific RV Center Response

I had contacted Pan Pacific about purchasing a new trailer and wanted to sell them my trailer that I have. I informed them that my trailer had been hit and ran and there was minimal damage. They had verbally agreed to buy my trailer, so I put $1000 down and they wrote up a purchase agreement. When I took my trailer there, they told me that I had to fix the trailer before they would purchase it and then started getting loud and then when I got just as loud, they told me they were going to call 911 on me. So, I left with the purchase agreement that stated the price of the new trailer minus the amount they were going to pay me for my trailer. Didn't leave with the new trailer I was buying from them. So, I called them a couple days later and we still were unable to come to an agreement. After two weeks had passed, I finally decided to call them and tell them to just refund my $1000 back to my bank account. I would defiantly not advise anyone looking for a trailer to go there. I would either try their other location or a different dealership altogether."Pan Pacific RV Center Response

Mr. *******, I apologize that you were not clear on the fact that we do not take damaged units in on trade unless there is a commitment by the customer to pay for the repair or file an insurance claim to ensure repair payment. This was communicated to you by the salesperson and the sales manager at time of sale. It was again explained to you when you brought your damaged unit in to pick up your new unit. Your description of the damage as "minimal", is inaccurate. The proper repair would be to replace the entire rear filon wall which would be well over $5,000. I gave you a reduced estimate of $3,900 doing just a fiberglass repair. It is unclear to me why you would think that any dealer would take a significantly damaged unit in on trade with no agreement for repair. Even though you physically threatened my sales manager, which I attributed to frustration and disappointment, I still offered you the opportunity to complete the transaction with an agreement to repair the unit. When you declined, we fully refunded your deposit so that you could search for a dealer willing to take your damaged unit in on trade. We wish you the best. Matt *****-GM Pan Pacific RV
